Withdrawals, In a major way.

I'm starting to miss my TWA. Is there anyone out there that can give me words of encouragement? Please help!!!!! Right now I'm at a stage where I can't do anything with my SL's.

Random Pics

Here are some random pics I took with my cell phone. I was really just messing around and stumbled upon the real reason I went natural.The first pic in this post shows the top of my head. When I relaxed my hair, I use to glue in tracks at the top. My scalp use to get sore, dry and flaky as well.The glue really thinned my hair and damaged my scalp. The bad thing is, I didn't even know that was the reason for my hair loss until it was too late. Ladies, don't be like me. You have to keep in mind that you have to take care of your scalp as well as your hair. But on the bright side if this wouldn't have never happened, I wouldn't have never had this wonderful experience. THE NATURAL EXPERIENCE. I feel so grown and sexy, (just thought I'd share that!) What are some of your thoughts about your experience?


These pics were taken a few weeks after my Sister Locks were installed. My hair at the top of my head has really filled in. I'll be share new pics later.

New Sisterlocks 3 Weeks in!!!!

These are two pics of the first 3 weeks with my SL. My install date was, May 22, 2010. I must say, I really do love them. When I wore my TWA, I use to get my hair tapered on the back and sides. I not sure what length my hair was. I think I had 2,3, and 4, in. length hair. My BFF is really not sure what to think, She'll come around sooner or later. Although my sister locks are almost carefree, I hate bundling and banding them, very time consuming because my hair is short. I did have a few small locks to slip on the edges, had to get them redone. If your hair is shorter you have to be very carefull with edges or you will have slipage. Can't wait till they get to the locked stage.
My first re tightening is July 3. More pics coming soon.
